Reliable whole-home standby power for Cornelius — installed and maintained by JCT Electric’s own factory-trained electricians, never a subcontractor. We’re right across Lake Norman, so help is never far when an outage hits.
Cornelius homeowners know how fast a summer storm can sweep across Lake Norman and drop the power — and how long restoration can take on a busy Mecklenburg County grid. JCT Electric sits just across the water in Denver, making us one of the closest Generac dealers to The Peninsula, Jetton, Antiquity, and the lakefront streets off West Catawba Avenue.
Most of Cornelius is served by Duke Energy, where afternoon thunderstorms, the occasional ice event, and tree-lined circuits all put your power at risk. When the grid fails, a Generac whole-home standby generator detects the outage and restores electricity automatically in seconds — keeping your A/C, refrigerator, sump pumps, security system, and home office online.
As a Generac PowerPro Prestige Dealer with 15-plus years in the field, we size, permit, install, and service every system with our own crew. No subcontractors, ever — you work with the same local team from the first quote through every future visit.
From The Peninsula to downtown, a Generac standby generator keeps your Cornelius home comfortable and connected the instant the grid goes down.
From load calculation and Generac sizing to permitting with Mecklenburg County, the gas connection, and the electrical tie-in, we manage your Cornelius installation start to finish. Most whole-home systems are installed and protecting your home in a single day.
Your generator is only an asset if it fires up on the first try. Our factory-authorized technicians keep Cornelius systems tested, tuned, and warranty-compliant, with priority and emergency response for maintenance-plan members.
We serve all of Cornelius (28031) and the surrounding Lake Norman communities — from The Peninsula, Jetton, and Antiquity to Bailey’s Glen and the West Catawba corridor — plus neighboring Davidson, Huntersville, and Mooresville, and across the lake to our home base in Denver.
